Can I Wash A King Size Comforter. The dry cleaners could do it but, it may be kind of pricey. I am sick of going to the laundramat for oversized items!

I wouldn't recommend washing a king size comforter in your machine. There's one of these in my house. Washing comforters two to three times per year will keep your bed fresh and clean (and your allergies at bay). (Depending on the size of your comforter, you may also need to use a commercial dryer at the laundromat.) Add tennis balls or down fluffer rings to the load to help evenly distribute the filling.

I bought a new comforter for my bed and I need to know how to wash it with out the filling balling up.
